Casey is Play Money's AI assistant. You can ask Casey questions about a deal to help you make informed decisions.
What Is Casey?
Casey is an AI-powered assistant available on certain deal pages. Casey has been trained on the deal's information — the company summary, pitch materials, investment terms, and other publicly available details — and can answer your questions in a conversational format.
Think of Casey as a knowledgeable research assistant who has read everything about the deal and can give you quick, clear answers.
How to Use Casey
Find the Casey badge
When Casey is available on a deal page, you will see a Casey badge or chat button on the deal detail page.
Open the chat
Click the badge to open the chat interface.
Ask your question
Type your questions in plain language, just like you would ask a colleague.
For example, you might ask:
- "What does this company do?"
- "What is the minimum investment?"
- "Who are the founders and what is their background?"
- "How does this company make money?"
- "What are the key risks?"

The company
What it does, its market, its product, and its business model.
The team
Founder backgrounds, experience, and relevant expertise.

Investment structure, minimum amounts, fees, and timeline.

What Casey Cannot Do
Casey is a helpful tool, but it has important limitations you should be aware of.
- Casey does not provide investment advice. It shares factual information from deal materials but does not recommend whether you should invest
- Casey cannot make investments for you. To invest, use the Invest button on the deal page
- Casey may not have all information. Its knowledge is based on the deal materials available on the platform. For questions beyond those materials, use the Q&A section on the deal page to ask the deal team directly
- Casey's responses are AI-generated. While they are based on real deal information, always verify important details by reviewing the original documents on the deal page
Common Questions
Is Casey available on every deal? No. Casey is available on deals where the platform has set up the AI assistant. You will see the Casey badge on deal pages where it is active.
Is Casey free to use? Yes. There is no additional cost to use Casey. It is included as part of the platform experience.
Can Casey see my personal information? No. Casey only has access to the deal's public materials. It does not have access to your account information, investment history, or personal details.
