Before your investment is finalized, you will see a summary of everything. Here is what to look for on the review screen.

What You Will See

The review screen shows a complete summary of your investment before you confirm. Take a moment to verify everything is correct:

  • Deal name — The company you are investing in
  • Investment amount — The dollar amount you chose
  • Investment profile — Which profile is being used (Individual, LLC, Trust, etc.)
  • Funding source — How you are paying (ACH, wire, or external)
  • Fee breakdown — 10% platform fee and 20% carry (on most deals)
  • Total cost — Your investment amount plus any applicable fees

Before you can confirm, you will need to acknowledge a few legal agreements by checking the required boxes. These agreements are standard for private investments and are required by securities regulations. Take the time to review them before proceeding.

  • Terms of service — The platform's terms governing your use of the service
  • Risk acknowledgment — A confirmation that you understand the risks of investing in startups, including the possibility of losing your entire investment
  • Subscription agreement — The legal agreement between you and the SPV for this specific investment

Confirming Your Investment

Once you have reviewed everything and checked the required agreement boxes, click the "Invest" button to submit your investment. This action is final — your investment will be created immediately.

What Happens After Confirmation

You will see a success page celebrating your new investment. You can share your reasons for investing and explore next steps.

Confirmation email

You will receive an email confirming your investment with a summary of the details.

Portfolio update

Your investment immediately appears in your portfolio with a "Committed" status.

Payment processing begins

Depending on your funding source, payment is initiated automatically (ACH), you receive wire instructions (wire), or your custodian is contacted (IRA/DAF).

Payment Next Steps by Method

The platform automatically initiates a pull from your linked bank account. No action is needed from you. The transfer typically completes in 1-3 business days.

You can track the progress of your investment at any time in your portfolio.

Common Questions

Can I cancel after confirming? You can cancel an investment before payment has been collected. Once your payment has been received and processed, cancellation is no longer available through the platform. Contact our support team if you need help.

When is my payment taken? For ACH payments, the platform initiates the transfer shortly after you confirm. The funds are typically pulled from your bank within 1 to 3 business days. For wire transfers, payment happens when you send the wire from your bank. For IRA/DAF, it depends on your custodian's timeline.

What if I made a mistake on my investment? If you notice an error after confirming — such as the wrong profile or amount — contact our support team as soon as possible. The sooner you reach out, the more options may be available to correct it.

I confirmed but did not receive a confirmation email. What should I do? Check your spam or junk folder. If you still cannot find it, log in to the platform and check your portfolio — your investment should appear there. If it does not, contact support.
