How to sign up and get started on Play Money
Getting started on Play Money takes just a few minutes. Here is how to create your account.
Signing Up
There are two ways to create your account:
Visit the signup page and enter your email address and a password. You will be asked for basic information like your name. This is the standard path for most investors.
If someone from an investor community or network shared a link with you, clicking that link takes you to a signup page that automatically connects you with that community. You will see the community's branding and may get access to community-exclusive deals right away.
Logging In
After creating your account, you can log in at any time using your email and password. If you forget your password, use the "Forgot password" link on the login page to reset it via email.
What Happens Next
Complete the onboarding wizard
After signing up, you will be taken through a short Getting Started experience. This interactive walkthrough helps us personalize the platform for you — it takes about five minutes and covers your investing interests, motivation, and style.
Explore the platform
Start browsing deals right away. You do not need to set up identity verification, investment profiles, or bank accounts until you are ready to make your first investment.
Invest when you are ready
When you find a deal you like, the platform will guide you through any remaining setup steps as part of the investment flow.
You can skip onboarding and start browsing deals right away. The Getting Started link will remain in the navigation bar until you complete it, so you can always come back.
Common Questions
Can I sign up with Google or a social account? Currently, signup uses email and password. Social login options are not available at this time.
What if I forget my password? Click "Forgot password" on the login page. You will receive an email with a link to create a new password.
I signed up through a community link. What does that mean? You will automatically be connected to that community on the platform. This may give you access to community-exclusive deals and you will see activity from other community members. You can explore deals from your community as well as the full platform.
Do I need to complete onboarding before I can browse deals? No. You can browse deals at any time. The onboarding experience helps personalize your dashboard and recommendations, but it is not required to access the platform.
