How to update your personal profile and account information
Your profile settings let you manage your personal information and how you appear to other investors on the platform.
Accessing Your Settings
To access your settings, click your avatar in the top-right corner of the page and select "Settings" from the menu. This takes you to your account settings page where you can manage your profile, identity verification, investment profiles, bank accounts, and preferences.
What You Can Edit
Avatar
Your profile photo is visible to other investors on deal pages, in communities, and on your public profile. Upload a clear, friendly photo to build trust.
Name
Your first and last name displayed on your public profile. Your legal name for investments is managed separately through investment profiles.
Headline
A short description like "Angel Investor" or "Fintech Enthusiast." Appears on your public profile to help others understand your background.
LinkedIn URL
Connects your Play Money presence to your professional identity. Completing it also contributes toward the Spotlight Ready achievement.
Phone Number
You can add your phone number with the appropriate country dial code. This is used for account-related communications and is not displayed publicly to other investors.
Your Public Profile
Other investors on the platform can view your public profile, which shows your name, avatar, headline, LinkedIn link, the companies you have invested in (unless hidden), and any achievements you have earned.

Can I change my email address? Your email address is tied to your account login. If you need to change it, contact our support team for assistance.
Is my phone number visible to other investors? No. Your phone number is private and is only used for account-related communications from the platform.
How do I delete my account? If you would like to delete your account, contact our support team. Note that if you have active investments, your account cannot be fully removed until those investments are resolved.
What is the Spotlight Ready achievement? Spotlight Ready is a badge you earn by completing your profile photo and LinkedIn URL. It shows that your profile is complete and visible to the community.
