Setting Your Amount

Minimum Investment

Every deal on Play Money has a minimum investment amount, which is set by the deal and displayed on the deal page. The minimum is typically $500 but can vary by deal. You cannot invest less than the minimum for a given deal.

Adjusting Your Amount

During the investment flow, you will see an amount selector where you can set how much you want to invest. You can:

• Use the increment and decrement controls to adjust the amount in set steps
• Type in a custom dollar amount directly

The amount you set is your total investment commitment for this deal.

Maximum Investment

Most deals do not have a hard maximum investment amount. However, the total available allocation for a deal is limited, and your investment may be subject to the remaining capacity in the round. If there are any specific maximum limits for a deal, they will be displayed on the deal page.

Common Questions

Can I change my amount after investing? You can request to increase your investment amount after your initial commitment. Look for the "Increase" option on the deal page or in your investment detail. Decreasing your investment after committing is not available through the platform — contact support if you need to adjust.

What if I cannot afford the minimum? The minimum investment is set by each deal and cannot be reduced. If the minimum is too high for a particular deal, you can browse other deals that may have lower minimums.

Is my investment amount the same as the amount taken from my bank? Your investment commitment amount is shown on the review screen along with any applicable fees. The total amount collected from your bank or wire will include the investment amount plus any platform fees, as detailed in the fee summary.

Can I invest more in the same deal later? Yes. If the deal is still open, you can request an increase from the deal page or your investment detail page. This creates an additional commitment on top of your original investment.
