Managing Investment Profiles
How to create, edit, and manage your investment profiles
You can have multiple investment profiles for different types of investments. Here is how to manage them.
Viewing Your Profiles
Go to Settings > Investment Profiles to see all your investment profiles. Each profile shows its type (Individual, LLC, Trust, etc.), name, and current status. Click View Details on any profile to see its full detail page.
The Profile Detail Page
Each profile has a dedicated detail page showing all information, organized into sections:
Status & Completeness
A header showing profile name, type, status badge, and a completeness bar for draft profiles.
Identity
Your personal information (name, date of birth, address) — managed in account settings.
Entity / Account Details
For entity profiles: legal name, tax classification, state of incorporation, and address. For IRA/DAF: custodian or sponsor information.
Tax Information
Your tax identification details, masked for security (only the last 4 digits shown).
Creating a New Profile
Your Individual profile is created automatically from your identity information — you do not need to create it yourself. It appears in your profile list after you complete the investment flow for the first time.
For entity profiles (LLC, Corporation, Partnership, Trust, IRA, DAF):
When you invest, you can choose to create a new entity profile as part of the wizard. Select the profile type and fill in the required information. See Investment Profiles for what each type requires.
Go to Settings > Investment Profiles and create a new entity profile directly. This lets you have it ready before your next investment.
The profile types available to you depend on your tax residency. IRA and DAF profiles require a US tax identifier (SSN or ITIN).
Profile Statuses
Draft
Started but not yet complete. The completeness bar shows which fields still need to be filled in.
Pending Verification
Submitted for entity verification. Applies to LLC, Corporation, Partnership, and Trust profiles.
Verified
Verified and ready to use for investments. The standard state for active profiles.
Rejected
Verification encountered an issue. We may reach out with specific instructions.
Archived
The profile is no longer active. Your past investments using this profile are unaffected.
Locked Fields
Once you have one or more active investments under a profile, certain fields become locked to protect your in-flight transactions. Locked fields display a lock icon with a tooltip explaining why they cannot be changed.
Fields that may be locked include:
- Legal name
- Entity type
- Tax ID (SSN or EIN)
- State of incorporation
- Control person details
If you need to change a locked field, please contact our support team.
Editing a Profile
Navigate to your profiles
Go to Settings > Investment Profiles.

Deleting a Profile
You can only delete a profile that has no active investments. If the Delete Profile button is greyed out, the profile still has active investments tied to it.
To delete a profile:

- Click View Details on the profile you want to delete
- Scroll to the Danger Zone section at the bottom
- Click Delete Profile and confirm
Common Questions
Can I have multiple profiles of the same type? Yes. For example, you can have multiple LLC profiles for different business entities.
What happens to my investments if I archive a profile? Nothing changes. Your existing investments continue as normal. Archiving only prevents the profile from being used for new investments.
Can I delete a profile? Yes — if it has no active investments. See Deleting a Profile above.
